The Health, Safety & Well-being Quality Coach will provide training, technical assistance, and support to child care providers and CCR&R Quality Coaches. In this position, you will have the opportunity to make a difference for Tennessee’s children by helping child care providers increase their knowledge of what is necessary to maintain healthy and safe environments within child care programs. Additionally, you will support child care providers through training and coaching in child development and how to utilize developmental screening tools. The Pyramid Model for Supporting Social Emotional Competence in Infants and Young Children will also be used to assist child care providers in promoting the social emotional development and school readiness of young children birth to age 5.
This person will be based from a home office environment, work remotely, and travel frequently. Significant local travel to surrounding counties is required. Overnight travel is also required to attend training and meetings within the state. Regular use of a personal vehicle and maintenance of personal auto insurance in accordance with TN state law is required. Travel expenses will be paid in accordance with established state rates.
